1. introduction

Doorways of Chicago (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

a. WooCommerce Store Purchases
When you make a purchase through our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email, and payment details to process your order. Payment information is handled securely by our payment processor; we do not store full credit-card details.

Order and customer data are automatically synced to HubSpot for customer management. For merchandise items only, relevant order details (such as name, shipping address, and product selection) are shared with Printful, our fulfillment partner, to produce and ship those specific products.(see section b).

b. Email Sign-Ups and Customer Profiles (HubSpot)
When you subscribe to our mailing list, complete a form, or make a purchase, your contact information and interaction history are stored in HubSpot. HubSpot allows us to send newsletters, respond to inquiries, and understand overall customer activity. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the link in any email.

c. Tour Bookings (FareHarbor)
Tour bookings are processed directly by FareHarbor through secure overlays on our website. Doorways of Chicago does not collect, process, or store booking or payment data for tours. See FareHarbor’s Privacy Policy for details.

d. Website Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our site—such as pages visited, duration, and device type. This helps us improve the user experience. Analytics cookies do not identify individual users. Learn more about how Google uses this data here, or opt out using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
