Did you know this was the only railroad station in the nation specifically authorized by the U.S. Congress? More than 100 houses were demolished to make way for the station and its tracks. The demolition erased the heart of an impoverished neighborhood called “Swampoodle” where crime was rampant. It was the end of a community but the beginning of a new era for Washington, D.C.

Doorways of Chicago accepts returns sent within 10 days after receipt, subject to a 20% restocking fee for all photographic merchandise and cards . The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value due to damage incurred during return shipping. Original shipping charges are not eligible for a refund or credit. Returns must be received within 30 days. All returned products must be 100% complete in original packaging. If an item arrives to you damaged please notify us immediately.
